Ailing Bridges shows he is still a winner in bodybuilding events

When Mike Bridges was named "Mr. Georgia" in 1992 bodybuilding competition, it was no surprise to anyone who knew him and the hard work he had put in to earn that distinction.
It was a much different story earlier this month, though, when the former Cordelean beat out 90 other competitors to finish first in the masters 50-and-over division where he was also was named the overall winner at the NPC Georgia Bodybuilding Championships.
What made the latest titles somewhat shocking was that they were won just three years after Bridges had been savagely beaten in a mugging in coastal Georgia.
