The ideal woman has evolved to a new look of health and fitness yet with beauty and sex appeal. Robert Kennedy, the Hugh Hefner of the fitness world, launches a new Maxim meets Playboy type magazine that presents sexy fitness models barely covered by skimpy attire and California tans. Fitness women rock!

Robert Kennedy, the successful publisher of widely distributed fitness magazines such as MuscleMag, American Health & Fitness, and Oxygen, is launching his latest publication called American Curves. It is targeted to an all male audience with macho content and filled cover to cover with 22 stunning fitness models is now available on newsstands.

American Curves is positioned to be a Maxim meets Playboy type magazine, which is steamy in content, and features the world's most famous fitness models in super sexy attire. The editorials are obviously slanted toward improving male prowess, for instance there are the 198 worst pickup lines that actually work.

The Evolution of Women's Beautiful Bodies

The publication of American Curves may be indicative of a cusp in women's attractiveness. Ever since man was able to record women's bodies we have been reshaping what is attractive to the changing tide of fad and fashion. First there were the Greek stone figures of Aphrodite followed by the plumper bodies with even plumper butts depicted by Renaissance painters. Then came the Victorian mono-bosom with the wasp waste that was formed painfully by corsets.

Hollywood's depiction of Jane Russell, Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield presented woman as soft sexy and very busty. Lately when the fitness craze first hit, a lot of women took to weight lifting. Unfortunately in the beginning they modeled themselves after men, looking to bulk up and cut their bodies up. What they gained in physique they lost is sexuality.

Now we have a confluence of fitness and beauty, the new fitness woman. It is the look of healthy sculptured femininity, fit and strong yet extremely feminine. This is the look accentuated by the women of American Curves except perhaps with the addition of silicone.

Robert Kennedy

Robert Kennedy, the publisher of American Curves, helms a fitness empire with fitness wear and nationwide MuscleMag stores. He has been active in the bodybuilding and fitness world for 30 years. American Curves is his attempt to redefine what a men's magazine should be. His company Canusa Group will release this bi-monthly publication this month, targeting the mainstream male market primarily between the ages of 18 and 50.

$100,000 Cash Prize to 100,000th Subscriber

In a stunning coup to jump start his readership, Kennedy is offering the 100,000th subscriber of American Curves a hefty $100,000 cash award and the special event will be filmed! It's for real, the cash is secured at the Wells Fargo bank in Las Vegas and will be awarded to the lucky buyer.
