Arthur Peacock earns Mr. San Jose title

Amador County’s own six-decade bodybuilding champion, Arthur Peacock, of Jackson, has brought home his latest trophy, a golden loving cup engraved with the title, “San Jose Ultra Masters 70+ NPC Bodybuilding Champion 2011.”
Now an icon in the world of bodybuilding, Peacock was treated like visiting royalty when he appeared on the competitive stage in San Jose on Saturday, July 9. The Mr. San Jose trophy brings Peacock’s collection close to 200, displayed in and around his training facility in Amador County.
Peacock poses with his latest trophy, as well as his first trophy, “Mr. Venice Beach,” won in 1968.
