A total cash prize of twenty-five thousand pesos will be at stake when the first Red Bull Mindanao bodybuilding competition reels off on March 23 at the Gaisano Mall of General Santos City. According to Mindanao Bodybuilders Association (MBA) president Ben Sur, registration fee is pegged at P150 per entry inclusive of lunch and snacks.

“There will be one category for this competition which is the Open division. We were able to organize this event before the Mr. Davao competition and we are very happy that there was a very positive response from other fitness gyms,” Sur said.

Expected to see action in the one-day event are bodybuilders coming from Davao City, Marbel, Cotabato, Butuan City, Panabo City, Tagum City, Davao City and host General Santos City.

The event is in cooperation with the Davao Bodybuilding Association (DABA) and sponsored by Red Bull Energy drink.
