Bodybuilder aims for topDate: 26.05.2007

A BODYBUILDER from west Cumbria has qualified for the finals of the Mr Universe competition.
Shaun Watson, 38, of Mountain View, Harrington, finished fourth in the medium height finals of the National Amateur Bodybuilding Association championships, held at Southport.
Shaun said: “I’m now up against the very best in the world in the Mr Universe finals, in Southport in October, and if I could get into the top three, it would be a dream come true.”
Sean, a Corus Process Engineering machinist, has been taking part in competitions since he was a junior. He trains at Northside Community Centre and Ted’s Gym in Workington, said he could compete for years.
“My inspiration is Bernie Cooper who is still competing at 61,” he said.
