This is it. What bodybuilding fans have been eagerly looking forward to. Another huge clash between big boys Carmichael Bryan, Roger Boyce and Jerry Nicholls.
The AT&T-sponsored National Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship comes off today at Plantation Theatre, St Lawrence, Christ Church, at6 p.m. and the heavyweights are expected to pull a big crowd.
Last year Bryan won the heavyweight and Mr Barbados, outmuscling the popular Boyce.Today he not only has to contend with Boyce, but another formerMr Barbados, Nicholls.
Action in women’s bodybuilding is expected to be hotly contested with Vicki Borman and Michelle Rowe, both very experienced, in the line-up. But relative newcomer Rhonda Browne is expected to put up a fight.
Fans will get an extra treat in the fitness category with the addition of body fitness along with the usual fitness. In fitness, champ Rosalind Vanterpool is always in super condition and it will take a lot to dethrone her.
In body fitness, the competitor to keep your eyes on is Carol King.
