Contestants sought for King Classic Bodybuilding Championships

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center’s “King Classic Bodybuilding Championships” seeks men and women of all ages to compete on Saturday, February 22, 2003. The Center is located at 1531 West Vliet Street.
Entry forms are available now through February 15th. Trophies will be given to the top male and female winners in each bodybuilding category:
• Teen Girls’ (ages 13 to 18 years old)
• Women’s lightweight (117 lbs. and under)
• Women’s heavyweight (117 lbs. and over)
• Masters’-Women (age 35 years old and over)
• Teen Boys (ages 13 to 18 years old)
• Men’s lightweight (165 lbs. and under)
• Men’s middleweight (166-185 lbs.)
• Men’s heavyweight (186 lbs. or more)
• Masters’-Men (age 35 years old and over)
• Overall title for Mr. and Miss King Classic
To enter, application forms may be picked up at the King Community Center. The entry fee is $20 if enrolled before February 15th. The late entry fee is $40. The King Community Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go towards children’s programming at the Center.
