Tampa, FL (PRWEB) May 14, 2007 -- Fitness Nutrition Advisor (FitNA), created by Ivan Nikolov, a top natural bodybuilder and nutritionist, announces the "Ivan Nikolov Summer Fat Loss Challenge: Lose 15 pounds or more between Memorial Day and Labor Day and keep it off forever."

"This is not going to be the easy and magical way for fat loss. It is going to be the true and only way - the way the big companies and media don't want you to know," Nikolov said.

FitNA is an internet-based, meal-planning tool that allows users to customize their meal plans to their particular tastes and weight loss goals, and then prints out a shopping list for the entire week. According to Nikolov, "The number one reason for failure in most attempts at fat loss is nutrition planning. FitNA takes all the guesswork out of what to eat and how much."

Through his website http://www.IvanNikolov.com, Nikolov is offering full access to his FITNA meal planning tool as well as personal coaching to 20 people. Their only obligation will be to use the FITNA meal-planning tool and to comply with his guidance for the duration of the challenge. All this comes at no cost for the 20 participants selected for the Summer Fat Loss Challenge.

People who need to lose weight and are willing to commit to the program for the entire summer can log onto http://www.ivannikolov.com/fat-loss-lose-fat.html and apply.

According to Nikolov, getting rid of the unwanted fat permanently is a slow and gradual process. This process involves the gradual introduction of physical activities and reduction of calorie intake. Over time, it becomes necessary to increase physical activity, and diversify the activities, as well as continually monitoring calorie consumption.

When asked if fat loss has to be difficult, Nikolov as resolute.

"Such a question makes me want to climb to the top of the tallest mountain and shout 'People, open your eyes!' There is no such thing as quick and easy fat loss. It is difficult for a reason."

"The latest fad diet does not really allow you to drop 10 pounds of fat in a week while still eating anything you want and not exercising on a daily basis. It is about weight loss companies and so-called 'diet experts' making huge money off of you; it's all about brilliant marketing campaigns, created to make you buy based on your emotion," he concludes.

Recognized as an expert in the field of nutrition and conditioning, Nikolov's personal story is inspiring. A tumultuous childhood and teenage years, and a constant, hostile atmosphere at home led to many daydreams. One of those dreams was to become a bodybuilder, and more time in the gym meant less time at home.

Due to economic conditions as a result of the fall of the Soviet Union, other Eastern Bloc nations suffered high inflation (over 3,000% in a year), and forced Nikolov give up most of the foods most athletes easily had access to before the Soviet collapse, and ate whatever and whenever he could find it. Due to the inability to eat the right foods in the right times Ivan found himself gaining a lot of weight - weight that wasn't all muscle.

In a sport where low body fat is a requirement, when he told his friends at the gym that he had signed up to compete in the Bulgarian national bodybuilding championship no one took him seriously. He was more than 50 pounds overweight, and had only 14 weeks to prepare.

At the day of the national championship, he had managed to drop down to 4% body fat, and placed fourth in his weight class.

Around the time things began getting better Ivan suffered a spinal injury and had to undergo a corrective surgery. Doctors told him he would never be able to train seriously, let alone compete. Ivan had different plans.

He first came to the U.S. four years ago, interested in competing in U.S. bodybuilding competitions. Ivan entered his first international natural bodybuilding contest only six short months after he arrived in the U.S. and placed forth in his class. Since then he has logged three third places in the world as well as an overall title in central Florida.
