Former police officer sentenced in steroids caseDate: 08.02.2003 Posted by: Anabolic Info Team United States
A former Independence police officer was sentenced Tuesday to two years probation for attempting to sell anabolic steroids to a fellow police officer.
Timothy M. Kamer, 29, was ordered to spend the first three months of his sentence under home detention. Kamer pleaded guilty last November to attempting to distribute anabolic steroids.
Kamer, 29, admitted taking $450 from another police officer to buy steroids. Kamer later told the officer he did not get the steroids, but court records show that Kamer did obtain steroids from a source in St. Louis County.
