THE Jamaica Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (JABBFA) is tuning up for the Bodybuilding and Bodyfitness Championships which will be staged on Sunday, June 10, at Stephanie Hall, Holy Childhood High School.
Pre-judging will take place at 10:00 am, with the main show getting underway at 7:30 pm.

JABBFA president Frederick Smith told the Observer yesterday that the association would be looking for "quality" competitors as Jamaica makes preparations for this summer's Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Championships in Bermuda.

Bodybuilders and fitness athletes will vie for honours in the Teenage Mr Jamaica, Novice Mr Jamaica, Junior Miss and Mr Jamaica, and Ms Jamaica Body Fitness events.
Wisynco Group, Lascelles Merchandise that distributes sardines and Vigoton II, RST Industries which make Home Style Juices, and Soft Sheen have all come on board as sponsors of the competition.

Gyms are to collect entry forms at the front desk of Spartan Health Club, Lady Musgrave Road.

Spartan Health Club apart, athletes are expected from other gyms across the country like Mighty Moves, Lloyd Young Health Studios, Tropical Beach Gym, Montego Bay Home Gym, Vern's Health Club, Image Health Club, Irie Gym, Ingleside Sports Club, Wilson's Gym, Body Trend Fitness Club, Satchell's Gym, Body Language Gym, Body Dynamics Gym, Pep Up Campion Gym, The Sweat Shop and St Joseph's Wellness Centre.
