Mudaliar muscles in to take bodybuilding title

Canterbury University, home of the intellectual workout, saw an awesome display of muscles and brawn this weekend.
Ngaio Marsh Theatre lifted the curtain on the Garden City Classic Bodybuilding Contest yesterday, a precursor to the world championship this year in Greece.
Yesh Mudaliar took top honours for the open athletic class.
He was one of about 20 competitors, male and female, who took part in the contest.
Organiser Warren Thin said Mudaliar was judged on shape and muscularity.
Thin said there was excitement for the upcoming Jayne Thin competition in September, another qualifying round.
The contest was named in honour of Thin's wife, Jayne, a bodybuilder, who died last month.
