Sylvester Stallone's "misunderstanding" has become serious.

The "Rocky Balboa" star was charged in an Australian court Tuesday, March 13 with importing a banned substance into the country last month, reports Reuters.

In February, Stallone was in Sydney for the Australian opening of "Rocky Balboa" when he had a run-in with customs officials. Local authorities seized 48 vials of banned human growth hormone used for bodybuilding after searching his luggage, private jet and hotel room.

The maximum fine for such and offense would be approximately $96,000.

Stallone, 60, was not required to appear in court since, but will enter a plea on April 24. It's believed that the actor is filming his latest "Rambo" film in Thailand.
