S'pore Bodybuilding Federation contributes to SARS Courage Fund

The Singapore Bodybuilding Federation is also doing its part to help combat SARS by donating $2,000 to the Courage Fund.

Asian Games gold medalists Halim Haron and Simon Chua will present the cheque to the Fund on Wednesday.

The money for the donation comes from 10 percent of ticket sales for the federation's National Championships.

The rest is from the bodybuilders and officials themselves.

SARS has also affected the Federation as the National Championships, originally scheduled for April, had to be postponed to July.
