The actor was 'ignorant' about Aussie laws
Sylvester Stallone won't be able to claim a victory Down Under.

The "Rocky Balboa" star pleaded guilty to bringing banned muscle-building hormone into Australia earlier this year, reports TMZ.com.

In February, Stallone was in Sydney for the Australian opening of "Rocky Balboa" when he had a run-in with customs officials. Local authorities seized 48 vials of banned Jintropin, a human growth hormone used for bodybuilding, after searching his luggage, private jet and hotel room. The actor allegedly also tossed four vials of the stuff out of his hotel room when it was searched.

In a letter to Sydney's Downing Center Local Court, Stallone pleaded guilty, claiming he "made a terrible mistake" because he was "ignorant" about local laws.

The actor will be sentenced next week. The maximum penalty for his offense is $91,500 in fines and five years in prison.
