WNBF champ Toni West makes cover debut

Recently-crowned WNBF Pro Universe Champion Toni West will be appearing on the cover of the November issue of Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness together with a featured profile inside.  It won’t be the full cover – just a good-sized insert (this time) – but there will surely be more opportunities for this striking young bodybuilder with the remarkable combination of femininity and muscularity. 

Fresh from back-to-back victories at the WNBF Pro American in Marlbourough, Massachusetts, and the WNBF Pro Universe in Barbados, West Indies, West has come into her own in the past two years.  Competing only sporadically after her debut in 2003, she has already won 6 contests in 2009-2010. 

“Most people, in general, have a very poor understanding of the sport and have harsh views on the women who compete,” she says. “I am willing to try to change the face and body of women’s bodybuilding one show at a time if I can. I want to bring to the stage my personal best, a healthy attitude, and great confidence in the way I look and make a path for others to follow.”

Toni’s “cover” shot will appear on newsstands and in bookstores August 16.  She will also appear in the upcoming “Natural bodybuilding moms & dads” on Examiner.com.
